Description: This data layer depicts the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. It is an extract of the FwsInterest feature class from the US Fish and Wildlife Cadastral Geodatabase which depicts lands and waters administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in North America, U.S. Trust Territories and Possessions. It may also include inholdings that are not administered by USFWS. The primary source for this database is the USFWS Realty program. Please visit the US Fish and Wildlife website (http://www.fws.gov/data/Cadastral.htm) or the Georgia GIS Clearinghouse (https://data.georgiaspatial.org) for the original source data. The intended application of this data layer is as a cadastral framework for use with other data layers in GIS and mapping applications. It is specifically not intended to be used as a land survey or representation of land for conveyance or tax purposes. Although these data have been processed successfully on a computer system at the Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse, no warranty expressed or implied is made by Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse regarding the utility of the data on any other system, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty.
