Description: Polygons represent coastal marshland in the state of Georgia. The data originates from the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) and was compiled by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. This map was designed to assist local governments fulfill mapping reuirements of the Minimum Standards for Local Comprehensive Planning, Chapter 110-12-1-.04, Rules of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, pursuant to the Georgia Planning Act of 1989, [OCGA 50-8-7.1.(b).(1)] Although these data have been processed successfully on a computer system at the Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse, no warranty expressed or implied is made by Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse regarding the utility of the data on any other system, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty.
