Please note that this data is an extract of only one of the base feature layers of the National Hydrologic Dataset (NHD) and does not represent the full NHD database model. Please visit the USGS NHD website at http://nhd.usgs.gov for the most recent and complete NHD data. The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) is a feature-based database that interconnects and uniquely identifies the stream segments or reaches that make up the nation's surface water drainage system. This high-resolution NHD was generally developed at 1:24,000/1:12,000 scale. Although these data have been processed successfully on a computer system at the Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse, no warranty expressed or implied is made by Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse regarding the utility of the data on any other system, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty.
