This dataset contains railway features including railroads, rail yards, and public transit rail lines. Features were originally captured from the Georgia Department of Transportation's General Highway Base Map. They have been updated and photorevised using 1993 digital ortho quarter quadrangles (DOQQ's) at 1:12,000-scale. Although these data have been processed successfully on a computer system at the Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse, no warranty expressed or implied is made by Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse regarding the utility of the data on any other system, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty.
